At its center, hand-carved and polished sponge coral takes the form of a heart, earthy, imperfect, and alive with natural texture. It is surrounded by Oregon petrified wood personally gathered by Gianni during his walks, bringing something discovered in the landscape into the story of the piece.
Hidden within the ring is another element revealed only in darkness. A handcrafted inlay of synthetic opal and luminescent material absorbs light and glows after the light fades; a quiet reminder that what guides us does not disappear simply because we can no longer see it.
Like the heart itself, its light remains.
Entirely shaped, carved, inlaid, and finished by hand, Strawberry Heart celebrates instinct, playfulness, and the courage to create outside convention. Its open shank allows the ring to be adjusted, becoming something personal to the person who wears it.
