This collection was created to honor those who came before us; the ancestors whose eyes never saw us, but whose sacrifices, prayers, courage, and endurance made our lives possible.
They survived hunger, war, persecution, displacement, and hardship. They protected their families, carried traditions forward, prayed, performed ceremonies, and walked the extra mile with the hope that generations they would never meet could have a better life.
We are those generations. We are the answer to many of those prayers.
My Spirit Walks With You is a reminder that if we could open our spiritual eyes, perhaps we would see them still walking beside us; the warriors, mothers, fathers, protectors, and countless ancestors whose names have been lost to time.
Created from Gianni Crow’s perspective and connection to this land, the collection is an invitation for everyone to remember their own heritage and honor those whose journey made theirs possible.
